Location: Remote Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach and Trainer to support our program at IRS CI Tech Ops comprising of multiple sub-tasks, each with dedicated teams and distinct scope. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding Agile adoption, driving continuous improvement, and providing hands-on training and coaching to teams, Scrum Masters, Architects, Product Owners, and leadership across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities: Coach cross functional Agile teams on Agile frameworks (ex., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and best practices. Design and deliver tailored Agile training programs and workshops for team members and stakeholders. Collaborate with teams leads and Product Owners to ensure effective backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery. Provide mentorship to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on Agile roles and responsibilities. Facilitate Agile ceremonies when needed and support teams in removing impediments to delivery. Assess agile maturity across teams and implement actionable coaching strategies to drive improvements. Promote a culture of continuous learning and feedback across the program. Support alignment across sub-tasks, helping to coordinate PI Planning and other SAFe events. Advise leadership on Agile transformation strategy, metrics, and scaling practices suitable for Federal environments. Qualifications: 7 + years of experience in Agile coaching, training, and facilitation. Proven experience supporting large-scale Agile programs, ideally within Federal government contracts. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban. Experience leading Agile transformations across multi-teams' programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead teams at all levels. Required certification SAFe Program Consultant (SPC). Prior experience with Agile tools such as JIRA is required. Experience in Federal IT delivery environments with compliance and governance constraints required. Understanding of DevSecOps principles and their integration with Agile practices.
