Job Description

A well-known clothing & footwear company located in Portland, OR is seeking a temporary IT Help Desk Technician to join their team! The ideal candidate will be essential in ensuring that our end users can perform their duties effectively by addressing technical issues promptly and efficiently.

Pay: $24-$25 an hour
Location: On-site in Portland, OR 97205 (Friday is work from home)
Duration: Contract role – Until end of 2025
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Duties:
-Provide Technical Support: Offer first-level support to users experiencing IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
-Incident Management: Log and track incidents using our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and communication with users.
-Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve technical issues through effective troubleshooting techniques and, if necessary, escalate complex problems to higher-level support.
-User Assistance: Assist users with setting up and configuring IT equipment, such as computers, printers, and mobile devices.
-Software Support: Provide support for commonly used office software applications, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
-Must have 1-2 years of Help Desk experience; CompTIA A+ certification highly desired.
-Previous experience in an IT support role or similar position.
-Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS,iOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
