We're on the hunt for a Motion Designer / Animator who brings ideas to life with energy, precision, and a flair for storytelling, someone who's fluent in the language of scroll-stopping social content and obsessed with how movement brings brands to life. While this role includes storytelling through motion, we're especially looking for someone who excels at UI animation, someone who can breathe life into interfaces and make product functionality feel exciting, intuitive, and effortless. You'll join our creative team working on a fast-moving, high-profile tech client, turning big ideas into beautifully animated assets across social, digital, and video. Think Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube bumpers, animated explainers, launch hype videos, and the occasional "OMG how did they do that?" moment. If you love transforming static visuals into dynamic stories and can reimagine live UI in a way that works natively for vertical and social-first formats, you're our kind of human. Responsibilities Concept, storyboard, and animate original content for social media and digital campaigns Create compelling UI animations that elevate product functionality and feature moments Abstract and reimagine live product UI into simplified, social-native treatments optimized for vertical and mobile-first viewing Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, and strategists to bring tech-forward ideas to life Stay on top of social trends and formats (you know the ratio wars, you love the loop) Animate logos, typography, UI/UX demos, and slick product moments Add motion magic to brand guidelines while keeping everything polished and platform-optimized Move fast, iterate faster—because tech time waits for no one Requirements This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in office required. You must reside in one of our US office locations: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami 3+ years of experience in motion design and animation, preferably for social/digital content Proven experience animating UI, product flows, or interface elements for web and mobile Ability to abstract live product UI to create stylized or simplified motion graphics tailored to platform-specific needs Proficiency in After Effects (a must), Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator—and bonus points for 3D (C4D, Blender, etc.) Deep understanding of how to design for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond A sharp eye for timing, transitions, and visual rhythm A reel or portfolio that makes us say "Wow" (seriously, show us what you've got!)
