Job Description

Join a well-established and well-respected group of 23 OB/GYN physicians looking to add several generalists, an MFM physician, and Primary Care physicians to their growing practice. They are the area's largest women's group and are located in one of the fastest-growing cities in the US (2nd only to Las Vegas).

They have 1 MFM and 1 REI sub-specialist and would like to add MFM for consult only. This physician will cover most if not all offices and manage the groups high-risk patients. There will be no calls and no deliveries for sub-specialists. For the OBGYN generalist opening, the group has multiple offices. Still, the OBGYNs will only work out of one office, and while the group delivers out of 2 hospitals, physicians only do deliveries at the hospital closest to their office. Hospitals have level III and IIB nurseries with all services in-house, including anesthesia and neo-natal. An Oncologist from Stanford visits 2X p/m.

While the group has been averaging about 10-12 deliveries per month per physician, the hospital is moving toward an in-house Laborist model which will give providers the choice of doing deliveries. If the provider does opt to do deliveries, they will earn additional money from the delivery. The group does a good amount of GYN, including Robotics, Laparoscopy, and all types of MIS. They do about 8 Robotics cases weekly, and physicians scrub together, so there is mentoring, etc. The offer includes a highly competitive guaranteed salary for 4 yrs (and they are looking for physicians willing to commit to a 4yr contract) starting in the low to mid 400K range DOE and a full benefits package including a hefty signing bonus, generous relocation, productivity incentives, and 4 weeks vacation and CME time. This is a growing practice located a little over 1 hour from San Francisco, 2 hours from Lake Tahoe, and very close to Sacramento.

This group is also looking for MFM, GYN/ONC, Primary Care and WHNP. Located centrally between the Bay Area, Californias State Capital - Sacramento, and Yosemite National Park, this is a rapidly growing community in Californias Central Valley. It also sits within a short day trip of other iconic attractions like Napa Valley, the John Muir Woods, and Lake Tahoe. Sports fans will have access to numerous professional teams across major sports including basketball, football, baseball, and hockey.
