Driving Range/Cart attendants assist in the day-to-day golf and driving range operations. Staging/washing carts, turning on/off the range machine, staging range baskets, loading the range machine with clean range balls, picking up range baskets. Driving Range workers are responsible for picking up the golf balls on the driving range, washing and loading range balls in the range ball dispenser, staging/cleaning carts. Communicate in a friendly, responsive and professional manner to customers and co-workers. Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to use good judgment. Ability to work independently. Ability to maintain a clean and neat appearance. Ability to maintain adequate attendance. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and in writing, to support organizational objectives and interact with all levels of personnel within the city in a positive and cooperative manner. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. A valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required. High School/GED. Previous golf course experience preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age. Moderate to considerable physical effort that includes working from ladders in awkward positions. Frequent use of light or medium weight objects (e.g., 25-50 lbs.) and use of medium weight tools. Marginal to moderate exposure to conditions that are unpredictable and may lead to injury. Regular exposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements. The City of Arvada offers a robust Total Rewards package.
